Jennifer’s Story
As a young child, Jennifer loved communicating with words and stories and has turned that passion into a business where she helps her clients communicate their brand messages – their stories – through social media.
After a rigorous round of essays and interviews, Jennifer was accepted into the Media Arts Writing program at Sheridan College where she learned about writing for all genres – books, television, radio, copy writing and corporate videos. And she was nominated for an award at Sheraton College for her writing in the corporate video about the Milton Correctional Institute.
After receiving her marketing certificate from Fanshawe College, Jennifer worked in many sales and marketing positions including Marketing Coordinator for TEMPUR Canada and Glasgow Manufacturing.
In January 2011, Jennifer found herself unemployed. Over-qualified and living in London, Ontario, which had the highest employment rate in Canada, jobs were scarce. After seeing three employment counselors, the decision “if you cannot find a job, create a job” was made…and she’s never looked back.
With a myriad of social media marketing training behind her coupled with a background in sales and marketing, Jennifer created Social Dragon Marketing. Jennifer loves helping businesses find their voice online. She works with a variety of clients including a leading regional magazine and one of the Leading Spas of Canada.
